Printer manufacturers offer their own software systems for checking consumables. However, they are manufacturer-specific. That means: If the device manufacturer is changed, its monitoring software must first be integrated into the IT, which entails high costs. In addition, the device manufacturers don't offer any system that links the monitoring of consumables for large-format printers with that of office printers. The system from caddon is different: can:control monitors the consumables, service status and order processing of supplies regardless of the manufacturer. And it does so for both large-format printers and office printer from A4 to A2 cut-sheet formats.
