Stuttgart, 20 May 2016 – The color and printing specialists caddon printing & imaging GmbH will showcase their color:communication technology whereby color can be captured both multi-spectrally and visually at the drupa 2016 trade show. Companies profiting from digital colour communication are in particular those that are reliant on precise coloring – no matter whether on paper, packaging, wallpaper, laminates or textiles. Trade show visitors can see live how color:communication technology based on the can:scan scanner and the can:view monitor and software solutions function at the caddon stand C02 1-3 in hall 6 from 31 May to 10 June.
The multi-spectral technology and its potential for efficient color communication is the centerpiece of the caddon presence at the drupa 2016 trade show in Düsseldorf. Together with COLOR PASSPORT and PrintConcept, two partners for color navigation, color management consultation and print analysis, caddon will present clever color strategies to the international printing industry. In keeping with the drupa motto "touch the future", caddon will give people an insight into digital color communication of the future which will be controlled via networked systems. The precise definition of digital color values - no matter whether on paper, cloth, wood or metal - is vital for high printing quality and quick production processes.

ColorLogic GmbH and caddon printing & imaging GmbH will partner to streamline the exchange of measurement data between their respective products. Accurate spectral measurement data is essential for successful color management, which includes material that is difficult to measure, such as heavily textured fabrics. The caddon product, can:scan, will support test charts which are necessary to profile various colorspaces with ColorLogic products.

caddon and Dalim Software announce their cooperation at the DALIM SOFTWARE European user conference EuroDUO in Barcelona
Germany's colour metrology specialist, caddon printing & imaging GmbH, which is headquartered in Stuttgart and Aachen, and workflow specialist DALIM SOFTWARE GmbH from Kehl, Germany, are presenting the initial results of their cooperative efforts for the first time at EuroDUO 2015, the European user conference for DALIM SOFTWARE customers in Barcelona (Spain).
caddon printing & imaging GmbH is the developer and manufacturer of multispectral colour metrology and reproduction systems. In contrast to spectral photometers, these systems are capable of measuring surfaces with coloured patterns with locational accuracy. The result of this imaging measuring method is an image format whose individual pixels contain spectral values instead of the typical RGB values.
As an add-on module for the can:scan multispectral systems, caddon offers the can:view standard light viewing system, which visualises the captured image content under automated, controlled conditions in real-time at various locations, and evaluates the content by metrological methods.

Thanks to the DMIx© technical quality standard, MIROGLIO is now able to identify, exactly match and accurately reproduce digital samples of colours and surfaces.
DMIx is currently the most innovative process available for digital colour communication, and has been successfully developed and implemented by collaboration between a network of well-known hardware and software developers such as CADDON, EPSON, EFI and Color Digital.
The digitised workflow of DMIx is based on CADDON's multi-spectral technology.
